I help fashion e-commerce brands become the brand search engines & AI recommend when customers are ready to buy.

At 43, I thought I was starting over. I wasn’t. W At 43, I thought I was starting over. I wasn’t.

When I closed my clothing brand after more than 10 years, I had no idea what my next career would look like.

I went from clothing brand owner → motherhood → teaching → a setback → rebuilding my confidence → consulting → SEO → e-commerce growth strategy.

It definitely wasn’t one giant leap.

But here’s what I eventually realized: I wasn’t starting from scratch. I was starting from experience.

Instead of leaving 20+ years in fashion behind, I built on it. I added SEO, e-commerce and digital strategy to everything I already knew about product development, merchandising, manufacturing, margins and running a fashion business.

That combination became my competitive advantage.

If you’re going through your own reinvention, you
don’t need to have the next 10 years figured out.
You just need to figure out your next step.

What if fashion brands thought about demand before What if fashion brands thought about demand before they placed the production order?

Too often, the process looks like this:
Design the collection.
Develop and sample it.
Commit to inventory.
Then figure out how to sell it.
But by then, some of the most expensive decisions have already been made.

That’s why I’m teaming up with product development expert Belinda Jacobs for a free live masterclass:

Bonjour bienvenue à Montréal! Montreal is known Bonjour bienvenue à Montréal!

Montreal is known for its unique blend of European charm, French-Canadian culture, historic architecture, and world-class food scene.

Today’s adventure includes a ride on La Grande Roue at the Old Port, eating breakfast at a French cafe, visiting Notre Dame cathedral, enjoying poutine and smoke meat sandwiches and hiking up Mount Royal.
After more than 20 years in the fashion industry, After more than 20 years in the fashion industry, I know this to be true:

Beautiful products aren’t enough if the right customers can’t find them.

When your brand isn’t visible across Google, AI search and organic product discovery, growth becomes much harder and more expensive.

That’s why I’ve evolved my work into helping brands become more discoverable in the modern digital landscape.

I’m Glynis Tao, founder of Chase Your Dreams Consulting and a Fashion E-Commerce Growth Strategist.

I help fashion and lifestyle e-commerce brands turn Search and AI visibility into predictable revenue, not just traffic.

Before starting my consulting business, I worked with brands including Club Monaco and Reebok and ran my own clothing brand for more than a decade. My experience spans product development, sourcing, manufacturing, merchandising, e-commerce, digital marketing and SEO.

What makes my approach different is that I don’t just understand search engines, I understand the fashion industry itself.

I understand how products are developed, how collections are merchandised, how customers shop, and how founders think because I’ve lived it firsthand.

Today, I combine that industry knowledge with SEO and AI visibility strategy to help brands become easier to find, understand and trust online.

If you’re unsure whether your brand is visible where customers are searching, join my free 5-Day SEO Visibility Accelerator.

Over five days, you’ll learn how to:

- Understand where your brand currently appears in search
- Identify the visibility gaps holding you back

Most brands are pouring money into paid channels w Most brands are pouring money into paid channels while ignoring SEO, even though it’s one of the few marketing assets that compounds over time.

After working with multiple 7-figure fashion brands, I’ve noticed a consistent pattern:
The brands that scale are not doing more. They are simply easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to trust at the moment it matters.

That’s what I call visibility alignment.

That’s exactly why I created The Fashion SEO Visibility Accelerator. A free 5-day guided framework designed to help ecommerce brands turn visibility into revenue.

Over 5 days, I’ll walk you through:
✅ What’s actually shaping brand discovery right now
✅ Why your traffic isn’t converting
✅ How to move from invisible to in-demand
✅ The small upgrades that drive real growth
✅ How to build a long-term growth engine

This isn’t theory. It’s the same strategic lens I use with my 7-figure e-commerce clients to turn visibility into revenue.

This is for you if:
- You’re getting traffic but not enough sales
- You know your brand is strong but not being discovered
- You’re tired of relying only on paid acquisition
- You want a clearer path from visibility to revenue

If visibility has been the bottleneck in your growth, this is where to fix it.

Let’s get your brand in front of the people who are already looking for you.
“No matter how hard I’ve tried to leave the fashio “No matter how hard I’ve tried to leave the fashion industry, it keeps pulling me back.”

For 30 years, I’ve worked behind the scenes in the fashion industry.

I’ve sourced fabrics in Hong Kong, managed million-dollar inventories at Club Monaco, designed CFL uniforms at Reebok, survived the intensity of New York fashion, built and scaled my own clothing brand, worked with Google, and eventually found my way into SEO and AI visibility.

But this episode isn’t about my résumé. It’s about the lessons behind the journey.

The moments when I questioned everything. The pivots I never planned and the setbacks that became opportunities. And why, despite trying to leave the industry more than once, I always found my way back.

After interviewing nearly 50 incredible founders on Chase Your Dreams, I realized I’d never fully shared my own story.

So this episode is different.

It’s honest, unscripted, and a look behind the curtain at the experiences that shaped who I am today and why I’m so passionate about helping fashion entrepreneurs build businesses that last.

If you’re building a business or wondering whether all the twists and turns are worth it, this episode is for you.

What exactly is colour analysis and why is everyon What exactly is colour analysis and why is everyone talking about it again?

If you’ve been seeing colour analysis all over your social feeds lately, you’re not alone. But it’s much more than a passing trend.

My latest podcast guest, Christina Florencio, is an Accredited Colour Analysis Educator, Slow Fashion Stylist, and Founder of REVIVAL Colour Analysis Studio in Vancouver. She helps people discover the colours that naturally complement their skin tone, eyes, hair, and features so they can build wardrobes that feel authentic and intentional.

As Christina explains, colour analysis isn’t about changing who you are.

It’s about enhancing what you already have.

“The philosophy is that how you were born naturally is what Mother Nature intended for you. It is actually your best colouring.”

While colour analysis has experienced a resurgence in recent years, its roots go back decades. Hollywood used it to help actors look their best on camera, and today it’s helping people shop more intentionally, build confidence, and create wardrobes they’ll actually wear.

In this clip, Christina explains what colour analysis really is and why understanding your natural colouring can change the way you think about getting dressed.

Have you ever had your colours analyzed? If so, what season are you?

How can knowing your colours actually save you mon How can knowing your colours actually save you money?

It might sound surprising, but according to my latest podcast guest, Christina Florencio, it has very little to do with buying more clothes.

Christina is an Accredited Colour Analysis Educator, Slow Fashion Stylist, and Founder of REVIVAL Colour Analysis Studio in Vancouver. After years in the vintage fashion industry, she realized that helping people understand what truly suits them was one of the most powerful ways to encourage more intentional shopping.

As Christina puts it: “This type of work and education can really help you save money. It allows people to slow down and be discerning.”

Instead of filling your closet with pieces you’ll never wear, colour analysis helps you recognize what works for you before you make the purchase.

It’s not about following trends or replacing your entire wardrobe. It’s about making better decisions with the clothes you already own and becoming more intentional with the ones you choose to buy next.

In this clip, Christina shares how understanding your colours can build confidence, simplify shopping, and support a more sustainable approach to fashion.

Do you tend to shop on impulse, or do you take time to really think before making a purchase?

Six years ago, I hit record on my very first podca Six years ago, I hit record on my very first podcast episode.

Back then, I didn’t have a fancy microphone, recording software, or editing tools. I recorded episodes directly on my phone and uploaded them to Anchor. I had no idea where it would lead.

Today, 74 episodes and nearly 50 incredible guests later, I’m still showing up behind the mic.

A recent guest told me, “You’re really good at interviews. You make people feel comfortable and at ease.”

That meant more to me than they probably realized. Because the truth is, I wasn’t always comfortable interviewing people. I still get nervous before every recording, but I’ve learned that confidence comes from doing the work over and over again.

So why do I keep doing it?

Because I genuinely love these conversations. I love learning how founders overcome challenges, solve problems, and build businesses they’re proud of. And I love sharing those stories with this community because I know someone listening needs to hear them.

That has always been the mission of the Chase Your Dreams Podcast.

To every guest who trusted me with your story…

To every listener who’s tuned in on your morning walk, your commute, or while working…

To everyone who has left a review, shared an episode, or sent me a message saying it helped…

Thank you. ❤️

You’re the reason I continue to show up week after week and year after year.
Here’s to many more conversations, lessons, and dreams worth chasing.
