What exactly is colour analysis and why is everyon What exactly is colour analysis and why is everyone talking about it again?

If you’ve been seeing colour analysis all over your social feeds lately, you’re not alone. But it’s much more than a passing trend.

My latest podcast guest, Christina Florencio, is an Accredited Colour Analysis Educator, Slow Fashion Stylist, and Founder of REVIVAL Colour Analysis Studio in Vancouver. She helps people discover the colours that naturally complement their skin tone, eyes, hair, and features so they can build wardrobes that feel authentic and intentional.

As Christina explains, colour analysis isn’t about changing who you are.

It’s about enhancing what you already have.

“The philosophy is that how you were born naturally is what Mother Nature intended for you. It is actually your best colouring.”

While colour analysis has experienced a resurgence in recent years, its roots go back decades. Hollywood used it to help actors look their best on camera, and today it’s helping people shop more intentionally, build confidence, and create wardrobes they’ll actually wear.

In this clip, Christina explains what colour analysis really is and why understanding your natural colouring can change the way you think about getting dressed.

Have you ever had your colours analyzed? If so, what season are you?

How can knowing your colours actually save you mon How can knowing your colours actually save you money?

It might sound surprising, but according to my latest podcast guest, Christina Florencio, it has very little to do with buying more clothes.

Christina is an Accredited Colour Analysis Educator, Slow Fashion Stylist, and Founder of REVIVAL Colour Analysis Studio in Vancouver. After years in the vintage fashion industry, she realized that helping people understand what truly suits them was one of the most powerful ways to encourage more intentional shopping.

As Christina puts it: “This type of work and education can really help you save money. It allows people to slow down and be discerning.”

Instead of filling your closet with pieces you’ll never wear, colour analysis helps you recognize what works for you before you make the purchase.

It’s not about following trends or replacing your entire wardrobe. It’s about making better decisions with the clothes you already own and becoming more intentional with the ones you choose to buy next.

In this clip, Christina shares how understanding your colours can build confidence, simplify shopping, and support a more sustainable approach to fashion.

Do you tend to shop on impulse, or do you take time to really think before making a purchase?

Feeling the excitement of the Fifa Wold Cup in my Feeling the excitement of the Fifa Wold Cup in my hometown. 🇨🇦⚽️🇨🇦

Typically not a fan of crowds but decided to step out and experience the energy at the Fan Festival.

I caught the tail end of the Canada vs Morocco game. Such a heartbreaking loss but happy Canada made it this far into the round of 16.

Overall I think the event was well done, lots to do for families and kids. They have lots of food vendors, sponsor booths, soccer skeeball, face painting, and a performance by WOTE.

It turned out to be a great day!
Six years ago, I hit record on my very first podca Six years ago, I hit record on my very first podcast episode.

Back then, I didn’t have a fancy microphone, recording software, or editing tools. I recorded episodes directly on my phone and uploaded them to Anchor. I had no idea where it would lead.

Today, 74 episodes and nearly 50 incredible guests later, I’m still showing up behind the mic.

A recent guest told me, “You’re really good at interviews. You make people feel comfortable and at ease.”

That meant more to me than they probably realized. Because the truth is, I wasn’t always comfortable interviewing people. I still get nervous before every recording, but I’ve learned that confidence comes from doing the work over and over again.

So why do I keep doing it?

Because I genuinely love these conversations. I love learning how founders overcome challenges, solve problems, and build businesses they’re proud of. And I love sharing those stories with this community because I know someone listening needs to hear them.

That has always been the mission of the Chase Your Dreams Podcast.

To every guest who trusted me with your story…

To every listener who’s tuned in on your morning walk, your commute, or while working…

To everyone who has left a review, shared an episode, or sent me a message saying it helped…

Thank you. ❤️

You’re the reason I continue to show up week after week and year after year.
Here’s to many more conversations, lessons, and dreams worth chasing.

I thought I’d answer some of the most common questions I’ve been getting recently from fashion, beauty, and lifestyle founders.

These are questions coming from clients, podcast listeners, founders in my community, and brands I’m speaking with every week.

Q: If ChatGPT and Claude are answering questions directly, does ranking on Google even matter anymore?

It’s a question every founder eventually faces.

My latest podcast guest, Adele Tetangco, has spent more than 20 years helping fashion and lifestyle brands grow as an entrepreneur, brand strategist, community builder, and fractional CMO. From co-founding @garmentory to building @snack____size , she’s worked with brands at every stage of growth.

What I love about Adele’s approach is that she doesn’t see creativity and analytics as competing forces.

She believes great marketing starts with understanding the data—what’s working, what’s not, and where the opportunities are. Then comes the creative part: finding new ways to connect with customers, tell stories, and improve results.

As Adele puts it: “Before I plan anything, I look at the metrics first. Then the fun part is getting creative.”

Too often, founders rely entirely on gut instinct or get buried in spreadsheets. The magic happens when you combine both.

Listen to this clip as Adele shares how she uses data, performance metrics, and creativity to help brands make smarter marketing decisions and drive sustainable growth.

What’s your natural tendency, do you lean more toward creativity or data?

One of the hardest lessons entrepreneurs learn is that growth doesn’t come from doing everything yourself. It comes from learning to trust others.

My latest podcast guest, Adele Tetangco, knows this firsthand. As the co-founder of Garmentory, founder of Snack-Size, et tigre, fractional CMO, and a respected connector in the fashion industry, she’s spent more than 20 years helping brands grow, scale, and navigate change.

In this clip, Adele shares one of the most important lessons she learned while building businesses:

“Investing in the right people and trusting the people you’re hiring is how businesses grow.”

For many founders, letting go feels uncomfortable. We worry no one will care as much as we do. We hold onto tasks because we think we’re the only ones who can do them properly.

But as Adele explains, growth often begins when founders stop trying to do everything and start building the right team around them.

What’s one task you’ve struggled to delegate in your business?

It’s been a great month of making in person connec It’s been a great month of making in person connections. Recently I attended the Bloom Conference hosted by the lovely @danilivinglife

Lately I’ve been living more intentional and savoring every moment.

That means spending less time on social media. Because honestly it doesn’t make me feel good. And of the many conversations I’ve had lately with other women founders I haven’t met one person who says they love social media.

As a matter of fact I hear things like people are feeling tired of the comparison trap and feeling behind in their business after going on social media. At the conference one of the guests said they use the Brick to restrict their phone usage.

I’m tired of the apps hijacking my time and attention. Honestly, I would be happier without it, and probably wouldn’t be on as much if I didn’t run a business. So if you hear from me less than usual it’s cause I’m out and about living life IRL.

What’s your relationship with social media?
