About this fashion SEO project:

inPhorm is an eco-conscious activewear brand founded in 2008, specializing in tennis, golf and pickleball apparel. The company emphasizes sustainability, using recycled materials and eco-friendly manufacturing practices. Led by Saad Hajidin, inPhorm aims to balance performance with environmental responsibility, offering stylish and comfortable activewear available online and at major sports venues internationally.

The Challenge:

When we started, inPhorm had done a good job with establishing their brand DNA as stylish and sophisticated activewear with comfort, fit and technical functionality. They had been in business for 8 years and wanted to grow their business and increase their presence in the tennis, pickleball and golf industry.

They also wanted to improve site traffic, customer loyalty and brand awareness.

The website had not been optimized for search (no title tags, meta descriptions and image alt text). They had done a little bit of work with blog writing but were interested in doing more blogs. They wanted to be on the first page of Google for the keywords tennis clothes, tennis apparel, tennis clothing, designer tennis clothes, golf clothes, pickleball clothing

The SEO Process:

The very first things we did was keyword research and competitor analysis. The general process is to collect a list of keywords relevant to their niche and business with the goal of ranking on the first page to get traffic and customers. We looked into inPhorm’s product categories and individual product listings to cover all the relevant keywords they could rank for. We checked the search volume and competition levels (KD) for those terms. Then we did keyword mapping to sort keywords into logical categories. We then assigned one primary focus keywords per page URL.
Next we optimized for on-page SEO. This step is all about keyword-optimizing content for SEO. That includes: optimizing content for search engines, creating SEO-friendly URLs, writing compelling and click-worthy titles, increasing keyword density and integrating keywords into their content.

The Results

  • Increase organic keywords by +639%

  • Increase organic traffic by +130%

  • Increase revenue from SEO: +86%

  • SEO ROI= 341%

Google Search Console- Last 3 months (April-June)

  • Total Clicks in last 3 months (3,958) compared to previous 3 months (1,617) = +144.77% increase.
  • Total Impressions in last 3 months (901,897) compared to previous 3 months (121,514) = 642.22% increase.

This website ranks for over 1000 keywords including high volume keywords (based on US search volume):

This graph from Google Search Console shows the website performance in the last 3 months. On the left is the number of clicks and the right is impressions. The blue line is measuring clicks and the purple line is measuring impressions. In April the site was getting 924 clicks and 191K impressions. By the end of June, it reached 1.82K clicks and 394K impressions.

What does this all mean?

In conclusion, by understanding what your customers are searching for, you can come up with a keyword strategy that gets your pages ranking higher on Google Search Engine Results. Which increases traffic to your website and increases your return on investment.
